CFMF in South Australia

Counselling support in Adelaide and online connection for men across the state.

Counselling for South Australian Men

While our physical footprint in South Australia is still growing, we have qualified counsellors available to support men in Adelaide and across the state. Sessions are offered via telehealth and phone, making professional support accessible no matter where you are in SA.

Our counselling approach is built around the real issues men face — relationship strain, separation, work pressure, anger, grief, loneliness, or that difficult-to-name feeling that something isn’t right even when life looks okay from the outside. We don’t do jargon-heavy therapy or tick-box assessments. We have honest, practical conversations and work with you at your pace.

Many men who connect with our counselling services also find their way into our broader community — joining an online circle group, attending an event, or both. There’s no pressure to do any of that, but the option is there when you’re ready.

If you’ve been thinking about talking to someone but haven’t taken the step, that’s completely normal. Most men wait longer than they need to. Reach out and we’ll have a conversation — no commitment required.

Online Circle Groups

We don’t yet have a face-to-face circle group in South Australia, but our online groups are the real deal. They run on a regular schedule via video call, with the same facilitated structure as our in-person circles. Men share what’s going on for them, listen to one another, and build the kind of trust that only comes from showing up consistently.

It might sound unusual if you haven’t tried it before — a men’s group over video? But the men who participate will tell you it works. The honesty is real. The connection is real. And for men in states where we don’t yet have a local group, it’s a genuine lifeline.

Our online groups welcome men from every state, so you’ll be joining a national community of blokes who are committed to doing life differently — more honestly, more connected, more grounded.

A National Community You Can Be Part Of

Being part of CFMF from South Australia means being part of something much bigger than your postcode. Our signature events — the Men’s Rite of Passage (MROP), Forged for young men, and The Gathering — draw men from every corner of Australia. Over 57% of MROP participants travel interstate, and South Australian men are among them every year.

These aren’t conferences or seminars. They’re immersive, transformative experiences that men describe as some of the most important days of their lives. The travel is part of the commitment — stepping out of your routine and into something bigger.

We’re also keen to grow our presence in South Australia. If you’re interested in volunteering, helping to start a local group, or simply connecting with other SA men in the CFMF community, we want to hear from you. Every state where we now have a strong presence started with a handful of men who said, “Let’s do this here.”

Explore counselling, join an online group, or get in touch to start the conversation.
